an open letter to my sons
(I will give this to them on Thanksgiving and read it with them -- if you have any suggestions on improving the wording please share them with me!!)
Dear Matthew and Andrew,
Today is thanksgiving
And Im giving thanks for many many things
One of the things I am most thankful for is you.
I am so glad you are my sons!!
You are so important to me!!
You are such a blessing.!!
I am very proud of you!!
I am very happy that you love each other, me and many people
The other big thing I am thankful for is that JESUS died for us.
That makes it possible for us to be reunited with your mom in heaven.
We cannot, should not and will not make that day come any sooner than GOD wants
But when that day comes we will not fear it cause we will be ready, o so ready, to go home.
Your mom is watching you and I am sure she is also very very proud of you!!
(News note. Andrew got invited to join the first and second grade chess club!!)
