Sisters & Brothers hear what I say -
Here's how the Lord would have us to pray:
With Love & Thanksgiving all the day through,
For all the many miracles He's doing for you.
Not only for the good things, but also the bad,
He wants us to thank Him for all that we've had.
For if we thank Him for all that He's done,
He will make a blessing out of every one.
Praise Him & Love Him and show Him He's dear;
Tell Him you always want Him to be near.
Tell Him you love Him with all of your heart,
And that from Him you never will part.
Tell Him you want no more life full of sin
And that you want to live solely for Him...
That you realize life will sometimes be grim,
But that it's all worth it, to be living for Him.
To live for that day when life's battles are won,
And to hear His beautiful voice say -
"Good & Faithful servant, A JOB WELL DONE!"
So, in all things be thankful - 'tho happy or sad -
And remember - you're God's child -
REJOICE & BE GLAD!!
