Today, I'm thankful for big winter scarves,
crunchy orange and yellow and red leaves to walk through.

God, I just want to praise you and thank you for all that is beautiful.
When I don't see it, you just open my eyes and make my heart new again.
I'm thankful to be totally and utterly in love with you.
At this moment, it's hard to see anything but the wonder of what and who you are.
Thank you for continuing to change us and letting us suffer persecution, hatred, consequences, trials, burdens, weaknesses, illness, poverty, hunger, betrayal.
All these things are so much more reason to love you. While we don't understand, you enable us to trust you. While we cry, you comfort. When we reject every difficulty and you, you use opportunities like that to show us that your love is unconditional. While we are scorned and mocked and embarassed and rejected by people, we are given the gift of desperation-a time where we may, in even deeper brokenness, approach you. Any idol or earthly thing we have come to depend on and lose, it is a blessing because though it is cut out from under us, you can then become the legs we stand on and we can then become more firmly rooted in you. I'm thankful that we can run to you when it hurts, like children, we can scream and cry and whine and you will always listen, always understand. It's hard to be an adult sometimes, but you always understand our youthful ignorances, our foolish pettiness, our greed and selfishness. And still, by the blood of the Lamb, you smile on us.

Third times a charm (3rd Post) ..............

I'm thankful for a message board and forum like this to come to and be able to get incouraged and uplifted in the wee hours of the night with spiritual food for my weary soul

I'm also thankful that God's mercies are new every morning....he loads us up with benefits daily!!! His plans are to bless us and prosper us even as our souls prosper! We are the apple of His eyes, when we hurt He hurts, when we cry He cries, Jesus sits at the right hand of the father making intercession for us non-stop....HE PRAYS FOR US TO STAND WHEN WEVE DONE ALL WEVE KNOWN TO DO....HE PRAYS FOR US TO BE STRONG IN HIM FOR IN OUR WEAKNESS WE ARE MADE STRONG IN HIM....HE PRAYS FOR US TO HAVE VICTORY IN JESUS NAME THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!HALLELUJAH, BLESS THE LORD O MY SOUL AND ALL THAT IS WITHIN ME BLESS HIS HOLY NAME!!!!!

I'm thankful for the internet and all that it makes available to us.
The friends, the ministries.
One can feel so isolated without internet, it can be so very rare to find a brother or sister in the Lord who's really excited about Jesus and desiring to live the Word more than anything.
Thank You, Abba, for Your provision and care.
Thank You, Jesus, for Your demonstration of who You are, in life and in death.
And thank You, Helper, for Your guidance and arousing such passions within us as are foreign to our old selves.
Thank You for making us new, for making EVERYTHING new!
Every hour, a new hour, every day, a new day, every season, a new season.
2005 is ending and I am thankful for another year lived, another year survived, another year blessed.
