IMO Jesus Himself is Hope and much more. Who is man that He is mindful of us and our needs and wants. Jesus loves so absolutely. I am spiritually in love with Him. He can and I trust that He will replace my sins and addictions. I am trying so hard and failing. I need Him.

Same here, my friend. I think pure liberalism or conservatism are very rare.

I agree, political parties have perverted the terms liberal and conservative to suit their own means, putting the modern usage of these terms outside of Christian ideologies.

Likewise. I don't really fit into either side of the political spectrum. It's all worldly anyway. The scriptures is where we should be looking for answers on these things imo. Of course, to those on the right that makes me some sort of socialist, but then to those on the left it makes me a rabid conservative. There's no winning when one tries to fit themselves inside a little box.

That's exactly my sentiment! Jesus is neither a democrat or republican. I believe in the bible and not in American political agendas.
