"With a historic wave of illegal aliens set to cross the southern border this spring, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has a plan to make the Biden administration deal with the consequences of its own border policies.

Abbott announced on Wednesday that the state will charter buses of illegal immigrants directly to Washington, D.C." Full article:
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Announces Plan to Charter Buses of Illegal Aliens to Washington, DC

I think other states should pitch in, perhaps donate resources to help because this is a national problem. We have seen what jihadists have done in the Ukraine, how many will cross our border we don't know. With Central American countries also releasing prisoners that end up in the United States this is a problem that needs to be addressed now.

Yes send all the illegals to the states with Democrat representatives who support illegal immigrants.
Happy to have them here, there is a labor shortage remember?

Why don’t we just let them becone citizens? There is no shortage of work.

Texas cannot afford to send too many. Roughly 1/4 of their workforce consists of immigrants. This article does not specify legal or illegal, but I have a feeling that quite a few of them are not here with Green Cards:

Immigrants are crucial to Texas’ economy - FWD.us

EDIT: Here is a bit more info. It appears that Texas loves their illegal immigrants they have about 1.2 million undocumented workers in that state:

District of Columbia Unemployment Rate at 5.8 Percent in December
Tuesday, January 25, 2022
(Washington, DC) – The District of Columbia’s Department of Employment Services reported today that the seasonally adjusted preliminary unemployment rate was 5.8 percent in December 2021; this was a decrease of 0.2 percentage points from the revised November 2021 rate of 6.0 percent.

“As we continue to adjust to the shifting economy, today’s unemployment data reflects the resiliency of the District workforce,” said DOES Director Dr. Unique Morris-Hughes. “DC is open, our recovery continues, and we remain committed to connecting Washingtonians to opportunities that lead to economic prosperity.”

The District’s preliminary December job estimates show a decrease of 200 jobs, for a total of 761,800 jobs in the District. The private sector decreased by 200 jobs. The public sector jobs remained the same. The numbers are drawn from the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) through its monthly survey of the District of Columbia’s employers.

Yes, their economy depends on immigrant labor, much of which is undocumented immigrant labor. If they want to stop it, they can just punish employers of undocumented immigrants with jail time.

They won't even really send the illegal ones. I edited that post so you probably missed that Texas relies on 1.2 million "illegal" immigrants.

They won't send the illegal ones they deem vital to the economy, of course.

There already exists a law that put a massive dent in illegal immigrants. But neither Republicans nor Democrats want to enforce it. Which tells us that complaints about illegal immigrants in the workforce are highly hypocritical.

Jihadists in Ukraine?
Yeah. seriously? That's a new one.

I don't know the full context. Was he possibly referring to these?

Interesting concept. Should not the issues of federal borders be dealt with by federal agencies? If the Feds won't come to the mountain, send the mountain to the Feds where they can't distance themselves anymore. It's like those high school parties that get out of hand with guest invited by others than the party giver themselves. Perhaps they all should be sent to the home of the ones who took it upon themselves to invite others. Not so much fun when the responsibility falls closer to home.
