  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Even with all that has gone on in the past several hours ---- I took an inteview (my second one with this place) and this a.m. I was offered a job. I will be working with sex-offenders that are teenagers and will be working therapist/teacher position. My job starts on Monday a.m. I am so excited because I can medically transcribe after hours too and finally get some money generated. :) GOD IS SO GOOD! I pray to God I can make a difference in these lives somehow and this is mostly Christians that I will be working with in administration and I am soooooooooooooo excited. :)

I couldn't wait to post.

Thank you so much. I am so excited. This is what I originally started my career in was in drug and alcohol rehab and the deviant behaviors that result from this and a lot of my residents come with this background. I am very excited. :) Thank you for celebrating with me. :):clap:

Thank you so much RHJ. I still can hardly believe it. I am so excited. :clap: I really prayed about this one too and people came up to me from church and in my Life Group and asked me about job hunting and they started praying for GODs will here and so I am really totally and completely happy because I know that guy I interviewed with prayed before offering me this position as well. :clap: So excited. :clap:
