  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

OK by this stuff I take it you mean all the pre Trib theories etc. I don't think it does etc.

Lately, I have been thinking of all the Covid, Afghanistan events etc. Even came close to posting a thread on it. In that it looks like the leadership is being deceived in ways that remind me of the Old Testament stories like God sending a lieing spirit to the prophets to lure Ahab to his death, and when David sent one of his friends to give Absalom bad advice etc. Even the Covid masking reminds me of the OT Law that lepers etc. had to cover their mouths.

But this type of reflection and conversation I believe is very productive on the topic.

Actually I'm really interested in the saying about the Bible verse on "the wise" are people who are involved with "winning souls". I got a hunch it is much more broad and general than proselytizing people. But haven't found a good source to study it other than reading it from an online Hebrew/English interlinear online Bible.

How does the study of eschatology result in saved souls?

It does nothing toward that end, imo.

Especially since it is not understood by, around 98%. Imo

I must assume that it is an incredibly enlightening book, though, for those who see it correctly.
How could it not? Considering that it was written by the Lord.

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Luke 24
31 Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight.
32 And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?"

One’s eye must be “opened” by the Lord.

Until that happens, we are all blind to what the scriptures are telling us.

Bible Prophecy does not save souls. Only believing in Jesus and keeping His Commandments, does that. John 3:16

However; the Lord has given us a large amount of information about His plans for our future. To ignore it, to misapply it to the past, or to think it is just spiritual homilies, is a serious error and God may ask us why we did that.

Knowing the truth of God's Plans, is a great comfort and means that as events unfold we won't be surprised as it all happens.
Because there are many who think they need not be worried, as they expect to the raptured away before disaster strikes.
The sudden disaster that Jesus said would come upon everyone, the whole world over. Luke 21:34-35

I'm not seeing any testimony on how this contributes.
