  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Life itself is a testimony, however I just want to share what the Good Lord has done for me recently involving pain and illnesses.

I feel like I don't share these enough with people, and I want to make sure that God is glorified in everything He does for us.

This will be a long read, and I hope I am not posting this in a "wrong" place, I just want to share with you.

Last year in March, I had a gallbladder stone.
I could not eat, especially large and cheesy meals.
It was a horrible pain, in my back and upper right side of my chest.

I did not go to the ER or any physician, for that matter.
I know this is silly, especially at my age, but I don't like doctors.

I was afraid of it being diagnosed, and having to need surgery.
The surgery itself didn't bother me, but the anesthesia did.
I heard around the same time this occurred someone had slipped in to a coma during a dental procedure. The anesthesia was too much for her, which caused a coma.

I am totally against anesthesia, for myself at least.

During an episode of a gallbladder attack, I was watching TBN.
The same day, I learned God's name means Healer.
I had just taken an Advil or Aleve, cannot remember.
I told God, (I am paraphrasing) "I know you are my TRUE Doctor, True Healer. I know these medications won't help me, but you can. Please take this pain away."

The very same day, the pain was gone!
Next day, I was able to eat full meals, and I was able to eat a cheese pizza!
The Lord healed me completely, without surgery!

Then last year in January, my uncle was sick. His blood sugar was in the 800s! We did not know he was a diabetic, and for his blood to be that high was nearly putting him in a coma.
He was rushed to hospital by ambulance.

The doctors told us an infection he had developed wasn't getting better, and his kidneys weren't working.

My family and I prayed in the waiting room.
When I got done, I looked at my aunt's cane leaning on the table in the room. It reflected off the glass, giving the impression that the cane and its reflection made a heart! Psalm 23 immediately came to mind!

I rejoiced, I knew God showed me He was in the room, and my uncle was going to be healed!

He was! His infection was cleared up and he finally awoke from his deep sleep. I am still not aware if it he was in a comatose state, nonetheless he awoke!

He needed to be on dialysis after his stay at the hospital, his kidneys were't working.

April of the same year, the month after The Lord healed me of my gallstones, and after weeks of my uncle being on dialysis, the doctors were going to be putting a permanent catheter under his arm.

The day before his procedure, I was afraid again! The surgery involved anesthesia, and you already know I am not a fan of the stuff.
I prayed outside of my home, and told God why I was worried. I asked Him to let my uncle be okay during the surgery and allow him to wake up from the anesthesia.

God did something better.
The same day, during my uncle's dialysis treatment, we received a call from the center informing us about my uncle's apparent fever. He was rushed to the hospital, only to find out that he was getting an infection by the catheter in his neck/chest. The same night, we received good news that my uncle infection was clearing and he did not need the treatment anymore! His kidneys were functioning again!

Mid last year, my grandmother was very sick. She wasn't responding at all.
The ambulance were called, her sugar dropped so low.
Her insulin was too much for her.
She was rushed to the hospital.
The same day, my workout routine for that day was back day.
With all that was happening, I didn't feel like working out!
I cried face down on the floor.

I begged God to please take care of her and heal her.
I looked up at the lat tower that I was I going to use that was up before me. It made a cross, and there was red string on the handle!
God told me, instead of working out my back, I needed to work out the backbone of my faith!

I stopped crying, immediately I rejoiced and thanked God!

My grandmother is doing fine today!!!:D

The God we serve is an awesome, loving God! Truly!
Nothing is too hard for Him!!!
I hope this reminds you of His greatness and encourages you to surrender your all to Him, including your illnesses!

I would love to know about the miracles Our Lord has done for you!

God bless you all in Christ Jesus! :)
