Night terrors? Not exactly sure what they are. Sometimes when I'm asleep I get the sensation of slipping on ice and waking up in a panic.

I used to have bad nightmares.. but now even my nightmares bore me, lol.

Not really, but will say that after coming into this world and starting to get a handle on things

I realized just how capable man is to do just about anything,

even the most unspeakable atrocoties.

I was born 42 so from day 1 there was darkness,

My greatest fear was that I would grow up and partake in such ways.

So much so that my mind would play tricks on me,

But I have gotten past that, though I have learnt to never say never.

The high holidays are coming up, a time for introspection and stocktaking,

best of all a time when "The King is in the field"
seek Him while He is to be found.

Tuesday, my best guess. I haven't had to remember it for years. It rained and rained after almost a year. 117 down to 85 degrees overnight. I might be able to cook and clean with this cool down but I'll never catch up.

my hubby said it was every time I saw my family, and i believed him.
When I moved into the spare room, to sleep alone, the screaming nightmares stopped. Just like that.

We shared a bed one night a few months ago, and guess what?, I woke up screaming that night only. Was it really my family?

Night terrors can be a sign of unresolved trauma that may be a sign of untreated abuse issues that often began before the sleeper had “language” to allow them to tell themselves what had “happened”.
Since all the sufferers had was their reactive-emotions, and unresolved as they are, they’ll “relive” these experiences with the same intensity unless/until they’ve dealt with them in a therapeutic setting.
