What er those terms meanings? I'm not English and I'm not that good so what does al these terms mean in the general Theology forum?

Glad you asked--and welcome to the forum.

This is the Origins Theology forum where we discuss pro and anti evolutionary interpretations of scripture. The link below gives you definitions of the various positions.

http://foru.ms/t842473-the-full-spectrum-of-christian-belief-on-origins-where-are-you.html

Here is a quick definition of each of the other forums in General Theology:

Eschatology: discussion about the end times, the return of Christ, the last judgment, etc. ("eschaton" is Greek for "last" or "last thing")

Soteriology: discussion about salvation, what does it mean to say Christ is Saviour, what does it mean to be saved, how does one receive salvation. ("Soter" is Greek for "Saviour")

Dispensationalism: discussion of the interpretation of scripture that divides human history into periods of time called "dispensations". See that forum for more information about each alleged dispensation.

Covenant Theology: basically a discussion of Calvinist or Reformed theology which is rooted in the idea of a covenant between God and his people (Israel/the Church).

Paterology, Christology & Pneumatology: The forum to discuss the doctrine & nature of God the Father, Christ the Son & the Holy Spirit. ("Pater" is Greek for "father"; "Pneuma" is Greek for "spirit")

Sacramental/Ordinance Theology: A new forum for the discussion of the theology of sacraments.

Hamartiology:The forum to discuss the doctrine of sin, the origin of sin and how sin entered into the world. ("Hamartia" is Greek for "sin")

Mariology & Hagiography: discussion on Mary and the saints and their place in Christian worship. ("hagios" is Greek for "saint")

As you see most of the forums are named from the Greek term for what they are about (just as they are in theological schools and systems). So its not your lack of English that is a problem. It's your lack of Greek. Many native English-speakers don't understand these words either.

Thanks for explaining. Now I get a better understanding of it.

Though I find it a little hard to split those subjects since I never did that before. :| But i'll tru to learn and adjust. This is a uge step: learning on an English forum. My English is pretty good but on heavy talk like religion it lacks. And my latin  :p

Thanks

One way to help you: read (just) ONE post slowly and carefully and look up those strange words (should not be many) in that ONE post. It won't take you long to begin to understand what are people talking about. It is much easier than to read a textbook.

In case you have a question, post it. Someone will answer it.
