  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I thank you for once again reminding us all that temptation can happen to anyone.

My boyfriend and I went through our own little trial jsut recently and thankfully, pulled out of it stronger than ever and still pure... I went into this relationship sort of naively expecting him to be so far and above any sort of physical temptation which I realize now was pretty silly of me. He's been an on fire christian for many many years now and is currently being considered for possible ordination... I came from a 'background' in the world and thought of the 2 of us, i would have more susceptibility to temptation.

It's really a two way street. We love each other and are patiently waiting for the Lord to give us the green light. Just remember, we are but mere humans- stick to your guns and stay in public places--- set ground rules and don't break them. Let God guide you... he'll tell you if this is a wrong way street...

Be strong, sister...
