Ah yes, Lambslove. Been there done that. Seems temptations of all kinds beset us, as Christians. Here's the good news:

1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Or as JB Phillips puts it: No temptation has come your way that is too hard for flesh and blood to bear. But God can be trusted not to allow you to suffer any temptation beyond your powers of endurance. He will see to it that every temptation has a way out, so that it will never be impossible for you to bear it.


I am proof of the truth of the verses. There is a filthy weasel I would love to get my hands around his slimy stinking neck. And I have been GREATLY tempted.

Nevertheless, I have been delivered from that. Came up with a better deal. I am going to let God take care of it for me. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

I guarantee that will be worse for the slimebucket than anything I can do.

Now I am impressed to pray for his salvation.

help her to count it all joy when she have to endure all kinds of temptations.
Show her how is it possible to laugh in the face of temptation.
Reveal to her Your faithfulness in the mist of temptation,
and make known to her that she will not SUFFER ABOVE what she can bear,
but let her see how You will make a way for her to escape from the temptation.
