CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What would be the best way to do a DIY repair a crack that's developing on the lid of my Dell laptop? I don't really have the cash to get it fixed professionally and the warranty has expired, so I was just wondering whether there was a sealant or glue that would be suitable for stopping the crack from spreading and to close it up, and wouldn't damage the laptop? The crack is occurring around one of the hinges on the back cover. Thanks in advance if you have any solutions.

Depending on the crack, it may be possible to do what they do for small aircraft when cracks start to develop. Drill a small hole at the tip of the crack, it helps to keep the crack from spreading. I don't know how to do it properly though.

Then fill the small drilled hole and crack with epoxy.
