I have never seen The X Files or Seinfeld.

I don't care for Seinfeld, but I adore The X-Files.

The thing to know about The X-Files is that it has three kinds of episodes: the conspiracy ones, the monster of the week ones, and the metatextual ones. The first two are pretty decent on their own, but every now and then they'd have an episode that would take a step back and look at itself and mock itself with gusto. They'd toy with perspective (José Chung's From Outer Space, Bad Blood) and genre tropes (The Postmodern Prometheus, Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose). That's when the show's at its best.

I'm in season 3 of that show, watching it on Amazon Prime. Gotta say, I haven't found it as incredible as all my friends and everyone online? It's decent, but a C+ or B- kind of show for me. Does it get better after season 3?

I love Walton Goggins from The Shield and Sons of Anarchy. He's a real goofball on Justified! That Mark Twain talk is something I can stand for only so long! LOL

There have been some good episodes, but overall it doesn't grab me like Sons, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Dexter, The Shield, etc.

I do not like superheroes. Not the figurines, not the comics, not the shows, and not the movies. I never got into them and I don't see the point of them. I tried to watch the Dark Knight when it came out in 08 - because of the hype - but I literally feel asleep in the theater.

Wow, Michael, you and I couldn't be more different, man! I'm HUGE into superheroes! I ran around in a Superman cape in the 1970's, was obsessed with Marvel and DC EVERYTHING as a little boy, comic book-collected for years and years....and I thought the Dark Knight films were BEYOND brilliant! You really should take a fresh look at them. Christopher Nolan is genius. Those 3 films explore so many big ideas, they're more than superhero films, they're social commentary on the times we live in and what we should try to be as human beings. I got a lot out of them. The X Men movies were awesome, you had to love those! Iron Man 1 was superb, Hulk was pretty dang good, Thor was decent, Guardians of the Galaxy was fun, Captain America (both flicks) were stellar, come on man!

If you couldn't accept Heath Ledger's Joker as instant cinematic legend, heck I don't know what to say! LOL

2.) basketball (Warriors!!!!!)
3.) football (49ers)
4.) hockey (not a fan, but I WOULD pull for the Sharks! LOL)

I cannot live without music. It is too important to me. On a spiritual level, I think silence would be much healthier for me.
