I also have a fear of using public restrooms. I don't need to go further with this explanation...I think everyone knows what I'm talking about right?
I'm seriously considering to become a monk as I've felt called by God for several years already.
I guess this qualities as somewhat surprisingly as I've never mentioned this in any of my previous post at CF.
And oh yes one more thing, could you add me in your prayers as this is heavy stuff to eventually inform my family about.

People are totally not into hockey where I am. This is football baseball territory. We live in a drought-parched agricultural center of California. Very conservative, DRY, and old-school.
Most of the people here are GOOD folks--San Francisco Giants fans and Niners fans! But there are some moron Dodgers, Raiders, and for the love of God why--Cowboys fans!?
Basketball isn't at all popular here, but I'm a Warriors guy. I'm all Bay Area in my teams....
If I had to watch hockey, I'd definitely go Sharks.
People are disgusting pigs. They always manage to urinate and defecate on the seat and floor. It's baffling.
I'm that way, too. I've even tried to get interested in sports teams, but I can't feel it.Unlike most of the posters here so far, I care nothing at all for sports or sports teams.
I used to be a liberal. But I was the go with the flow kind rather than the militant type.I used to be a flaming liberal. :o
Central Valley California resident checking in. I'm a Packers fan.
That's why I always use the sink. It's an underused resource.
I used to be a flaming liberal. :o
My prayers! Tell us more about the Monk life and what draws you to it!
Me too. Then I read the bible and became a Christian.
There are different forms of American conservativism. Two main divisions are between fiscal conservatives and social conservatives. Then there are different degrees within each of those. There's also the division between the traditional GOP candidates and Tea Party candidates, and they often have harsh words to say about each other. It's not as uniform as American liberalism is. Conservatives often disagree with each other on various topics. For example, there are different opinions among conservatives on immigration or on Syria and Russia. The uniformity of the American liberals vs the division among conservatives is why the liberals won the last two POTUS elections. Many liberal causes are fully compatible with Christianity: just wages and working conditions, social and workplace equality for sex and race, environmentalism (which should be a conservative value, but for some reason isn't), social safety nets, etc.
Several modern liberal values are incompatible with Christianity, but that is true of modern conservatism too. It's why I'm a independent.
Which brings me to another fun fact about myself: I'm not as liberal as I may appear by my posting here. It's just when compared to some of the hard right stuff that gets posted here and in AP, I look Left by comparison.
