tell me why I shouldn't kill myself

Forgive me if I sound harsh but your post sounds very self centered,the best way to give your life meaning and make your walk with Christ better is to start thinking of others.If your life sucks is it possibly your fault,try this to give your life meaning do something to help someone else at least once a day.I dont know your age but there is always something you can volunteer for and people who need help.If you are still in school be a friend to some of the kids that are left behind by the others,if you are an adult deliver for meals on wheels or volunteer once a week at a hospital.Clean your church or if you live at home blow your parents minds and clean the house every day.Nothing makes us feel better than helping others.

Are you working on your walk with Christ,read a Chapter of the Bible daily and try to learn from it.Pray daily and accept the fact that Christians struggle just like everyone else.

finally suicide is selfish,think of the devastating affect this would have on your family and friends,they would feel guilty for the rest of their lives.Every day is a new one and we can determine how we will approach it,we can wake up and be depressed and gloomy or we can put a smile on our faces and wonder who we can help today.

When I was at the point of considering suicide, because of abusive husband as seemingly no way out, I gave God a challenge. If He did not exist, then there was not point of contuing, and if He did then He should enter my life in a real big way. I studied the Bible to find all the things about how others came to experience God, what did they see, what did they feel, and what did they do to get this experience. What did they advise....like seek ye first the kingdom of God and His Righteousness and then all these things will be added unto you. Another one is do you not know that you are the temple of God? My favorite is Behold I stand at the door and knock, any one hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in and sup with them, ,....that the one on one ...real deal...God is offering you. So before you off yourself, be fair, and give God an earnest "for real" effort. Be serious for once in your life, after all you are talking about taking your life, be deadly serious with your conversations with God.

Don't do it, just sleep alot, read, and try fasting for 40 days first. When I say fast, eat everything but meats (eggs), dairy, wine or oil. Oh, and no hanky panky either. Then try and pray, see what happens.

A good reason not to kill yourself is that, if you decide not to, you can change your mind later, but if you decide to do it, you can't.

If you don't have enough information, don't make irreversible choices.

You haven't lived the rest of your life to find out how good or bad it is. Give it some time.

Look i've been there a lot of people have and the fact is thee is nothing htat i can tell you that will make u change ur mind that is completely up to you to decide but i will say this hta u are loved by a lot of people as weel as God and i would like to leave u with this quote- God had one son on earth without sin but he had none without suffering

my testimony, i was a prostitute drug addict i had tried many times to quit but it was beyond me, i prayed every night that god woyld rescue me without being raped, getting aids or murdered, my cat whom i loved very much got run over, i almost got killed by a car accident and then i became pregnant after a condom broke with a client. i was going to abort but i thought if i kill this baby to continue on in this lifestyle, that's it this will be my life, so i decided to try and see if i could be a mom, i went to church, gave my life to god, committed myself to being a christian and walking with god for this baby of mine. i am now married have two boy's a wonderful hubby and have been delivered from so much, god never stops blessing me and my family. that is my testimony.oh and its been almost 4 years now.oh and by the way i got saved when i was 19was on and off again until right b4 got pregnant where i was totally on the streets agin. i was24 then.

Dear Morbid Unicorn,

First of all, the one and only good reason why anyone shouldn't kill themselves is because, simply, no one has any authority over their bodies or others. God created you, gave you life, Him only can take it away from you.
And the reason why your life sucks is not because God doesn't like you. In fact, "For God loved the world in this way: He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." -John 3:16.
God tests everyone's faith and I highly doubt that God would give anyone a test that would be more than he/she can take. And I don't think your life would be more miserable than Job's. He lost all his 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, 500 female donkeys and lost his children, yet, Job still believed in God and God gave Job all his belongings back x 7. And gave him his children.
So, God loves everyone. Testing your faith never meant that God forgot about you. And in the end, he will reward those who passed the test.

God loves you and always will. killing yourself is never the answer and will not only destroy your life but the ppl around u. i am praying for u and that everything will get better

I hope that you don't kill yourself. No matter what, things always get better. What you need to do is find out what is causing you to want to commit suicide. Once yuo have done this, confront this cause and if it is a person, tell them you want to talk with them privately. A counsulor might be a good idea or telling someone you trust all your problems and letting them help you sort through them.
