Haha! I remember the Christmas before I turned 2. My family told me there would be a tree - IN the house. I grew up in Maplewood, had tripped over tree roots, gotten in trouble for climbing trees Mom apparently thought would somehow hurt me, and I did NOT believe there would be a tree in the house. I did however think it was a REALLY cool idea, and anytime anybody asked me what I wanted for Christmas my only response was a Christmas tree.

So yeah, tree hugger I am.

I also remember when said "tree" arrived. There were no roots, and it wasn't even as tall as Dad?!? I had been scammed, that is no "tree!"
