Two weeks ago: I had a disturbing dream involving my teeth. I dreamt that my front teeth had got mangled somehow and were about to break off in my mouth. It was painful and messy as there was blood everywhere. I kept trying to straighten them out and for a while, it only seemed to make things worse. Eventually, I got them to look normal again, but knew that they were not firmly rooted. The dream ended with me looking in the mirror and consoling myself that it would be okay because tomorrow I would go to the dentist and have them firmly rooted.

Exactly a week later: I had another tooth dream but this time it involved one of my back teeth. It was shaky and was causing some discomfort but not nearly as much as what I experienced in the first dream. There was no blood or mess, but it was still upsetting. This time I did go to the dentist, someone whom I don't know in real life but who just represented the dentist in the dream. When I walked in, he seemed to know I was coming and offered a kind of rinse or mouthwash. When I told him that the tooth was loose, expecting him to somehow mend it back in place, he began to remove it altogether. The dream ended with me clinging to him in discomfort.

Other info: the only other time that I've had teeth-related dreams was once last year. In that one, I saw myself with two rows of bottom teeth, with the second row aligned under my tongue. There was no dentist or anything, but I did feel somewhat disturbed. My mother's friend died in a car accident minutes after I woke up from that and someone I knew pretty well died last Friday in similar circumstances.

What are your impressions of the dreams? Do you think that the deaths and the dreams that preceded them are just coincidences?

Any feedback would be appreciated because I'm confused.

The Lord has given me this understanding of teeth before:

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account (Hebrews 4:12-13).

Our teeth are in our mouths. Our mouths are what we use to speak words. The Word of God is described as a double-edged sword. Our teeth are like swords in that they cut through whatever we bite. So, when we are speaking God's words we are using that double-edged sword if we are not watering down the gospel. So, I see the teeth as representing the Word of God that cuts through people's hearts.
