Teens Forum Introductions Thread.

I thought it would be nice to have an introductions thread where older members can all post who they are (introducing ourselves to new posters) and new members can introduce themselves. It seems like a good way to get to know each other better.

Just say your name or username and give a little information about who you are, what you believe, what you like to do.

Would it be a good idea to put a sticky on this thread?


To start: My name is Grace, or Gracie... you can call me by either name. I am almost 18. I just moved to Texas to live with my grandmother, who is 93 and needed someone to live with her. I'm a Freshman at the local junior college. I plan to major in math. I've believed in Christ for about two years now, and God recently called me to join the Catholic church - I'm starting RCIA! My hobbies include music, knitting, sewing, and reading. I really enjoy posting on CF, and I'm trying to turn the Teens forum into a stronger community/group of friends.

hi,my name is fireof god98. i am 15 and i live in Alberta,Canada. i love theology even though i am an atheist and at one time felt a strong calling to the priesthood. i enjoy philosophy,political science and astronomy as well. i am one the few posters of teen forums and tend to spend more time on the ethics and morality threads as well as the philosophy thread.

Hey my name is taylor and i live in washington state. My life is pretty much music (jazz specifically with my high school band where ill be freshman), snowboarding, some art, and of course my wonderful youth group and GOD! Oh and im 14. I grew up in a christian home with chrisrian parents, but i really started following Him in sixth grade after a youth group retreat. So yay!

A friendly hello to all.

I'm sixteen going on seventeen. And now I have that song from "The Sound of Music" playing in my head and fear it's going to be stuck there like a piece of bubblegum on the bottom of my shoe, haha. I just began my senior year of high school. I've lived in Los Angeles since 2010, and it's lassoed its way around my heart. I love it despite the traffic and the obnoxiousness of it at times, and I'll miss it when I leave for college. I was born in Germany, and we then moved to NYC, DC, and then LA.

My favorite pursuits are dancing, painting, making music, reading, running, surfing, equestrian sports, swimming, and tennis. By far the extracurricular I'm the most involved in is dance. I've been a competitive dancer since I was six. I am active in the youth group at my church. I've been a member of a Presbyterian church since we moved here, but in the past have attended Methodist churches and an Episcopalian school. I'm a liberal-leaning Protestant.
