  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I think technology is out of hand, If I could I would have chosen to live way back then, preferably even earlier than Jesus.

People are insanely lazy it's surreal, I mean seriously. I like how all Christians can do is say that Gay's are bad, yet here they are loving technology. IMHO, thats just worse. Showers and soap, are they saying Jesus was dirty?

I believe what you are pointing at is SIN not technology, and it's not just these two or three things that go against God's will. Are you saying that before Jesus, there was not any technology? God made a lot of things, it's sin that corrupts them. For if it were not for the internet or other high speed communication devices, we would not be able to tell people about Jesus at the speed we can now.

God made language, yet people cuss, also that's how we talk about God,

You can never blame a concept or tool for the sin it produces, nor should you as a Christian judge or blame the man.

Ahh yes, I like technology, but in the sense when its moral. I have to agree with you on that, is the sin. But with ever more increasingly technology, comes a lot more sin. Like take for instance cloths, a lot of companys have slaves make them for like 5 cents a day. Now may technology isn't bad, the way we achieve it is rediculous. And our foods, only God knows what kind of stuff they put in it.

Its just the way we obtain it everything falls out of place... large oil companys giving themselves multi-million dollar bonuses, yet their are poor people making minimum wage out in the hardest parts of the cities.

I don't know if that's tech. though, the first is simply taking advantage of someone else's condition to reap a larger profit, and the second is well, hey I haven't died yet, so might as well keep eatin; those corn dogs...

As far as ourday and age is concerned...it's really nothing to be too excited about, yes sin is rampant, but think about this; Jesus was born in to a world in which Sexual Immorality was at its peak...they didn't even have the internet, yet still found ways to flod itself into every walk of life...and yes corruption was just as prevalent, from the highest of officials to the lowest of slaves...it was there...Think about the explanation from the teachers of the law/roman soldiers for Jesus' disappearence after his death, I'm sorry but if that doesn't say government scandal all over it, then I don't know what does.

Yes, but we dont need skyscrapers, cars, power plants, and such. If we did, God would have made it. I mean Im just saying we are getting way to lazy. We buy our foods, we dont even make it really... we have microwaves =.=.

God didn't make trees to be massivly cut down at a insanely fast rate. U may think this new technology is all fine and dandy but sooner or later ice caps will melt, we'll have less fresh water in streams and places will flood, and then the earth will also be hotter. And without so many trees oxegyn levels drop and such.

It's just no one is self sufficient any more, and the earth looks horrible with buildings and stuff, thats why we have camping and things, to actually get back to our roots and enjoy the world.

An odd statement coming from one posting to an electronic, computerized, global internet bulliten board... (Kidding)

Technology at its core is amoral, in that it is neither good nor evil and incapable of being inherently one or the other.

Sin is sin. People will find ways to demonstrate their depravity with or without technology. Don't believe this read Genesis 6.
