I don't know if any of you have ever seen this show, but it is called Dark Angel. It has Jessica Alba in it and she was part of a similar program. They genetically enhanced her and many other specially grown children in the search for the perfect solider (academics were nill).

She was part of unit X5 who were programed to be able to work in the field on their own. But they had too much indepence and escaped when they were 9. She grew up away from the others for sometime and has been looking for them (premise of the show). But that was the show .

Lady Knight, you are a grand writer, so I doubt 'cruddy' will describe your intro post. Well, unless you try really hard to make it cruddy...dragging it through the dirt...not cleaning up after it eats...yeah, maybe it could be cruddy.
