CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
Technologically challenged . . . please help!

). The picture was taken at Dave Armstrong's house, in his living room. His wife took it.Okay, now I've really got to leave for work.

I also met another "big gun" the day that photo was taken . . . our own Jeffery Lloyd, who also happens to leave nearby, and is a very nice guy. When Jimmy was in town, he and Dave and I were planning on having dinner together at a local restaurant near Dave's house. So I asked Jeff if he would like to come. He ended up meeting us at the restaurant (he arrived late
). So Dave, Jimmy, Jeff, myself and another friend of mine all had dinner together. It was nice. Very good converstation, as you can imagine. I wish I would have thought about bringing a camera to the restaurant, though. If I had, I could have posted a picture of all of us, including Jeffrey Lloyd. But I didn't even think about it. In fact, I didn't think about the picture in this thread, either. Dave's wife, Judy, actually took some pictures of us and gave me one.
