• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I’m so tired of holding these tears inside,
Can’t keep them back much longer.
All the pain, the hurt and sorrow
Built a wall that’s fallen over.

And what if I finally cry this sadness?
Will it drown my heart and soul?
And when will I finally cry this sadness?
Before it breaks my heart any more?

I’m so tired of keeping this smiling façade,
Can’t keep it up much longer.
All the beaming jokes and laughter
Hide this broken heart and soul.

And what if I finally cry this sadness?
Will it drown my heart and soul?
And when will I finally cry this sadness?
Before it breaks my heart any more?

I’ve shattered into so many pieces,
I can’t put the bits into place.
I’ve lost my self in the shards of myself,
And I’m losing this unending race.

I’m so tired of being the strong one
Can’t I be weak just this once,
And let someone else be my strength
While I fix up this battered shell?

And what if I finally cry this sadness?
Will it drown my heart and soul?
And when will I finally cry this sadness?
Before it breaks my heart any more?

Quite good, I like it! Reading this has helped me to better identify a great sorrow within my own life.

I feel you have had a huge sadness(s) in your life. Through God's grace, you have been given strength to bear this burden and to remain strong for others. But you grow weary of staying strong so others can lean on you, to use your shoulder to cry upon. For once in your life, you need to lean on someone else. You need another's shoulder instead of letting others use yours.

Remember one thing: Don't be afraid to lean on someone else for a change. Your emotions may feel as if they will suffocate you, but by leaning on someone else and with God's strength, you can make it!!

Either that, or your imagination is extremely spot-on!! ;)

No, that's it. :)

The problem is having someone to lean on when you need it.

But, hey, as I always say to people when I have issues, "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine."

I always am.

God is amazing, always believe and trust in Him. Of course, it seems you already have a good handle on that...

One day, God will grant you that person to lean on. His timing is perfect, every time!!

What can I say? besides :amen:
