Hello there! We all know that there are some things that are hard to understand when it comes to the Word of God, I've spent a lot of time thinking about these things, few days ago I had this thought that the Bible holds many "hidden" teachings, these teachings are in plain sight but they are not for everyone.
Think about the gospel of John, the first miracle, the turning of water into wine, this is not just a miracle, this is about a lot more.Let's go further. check John 9, where Jesus heals the man who was born blind, check John 9:41 "Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth."
Notice something? We know that every man is a sinner, right, even that blind man was a sinner, right? Then, why Jesus says that if you were blind, you should have no sin? It's clear that He does not talk about physical blindness, He talks about spiritual blindness, so that it means that anyone who is spiritually blind is not under the curse of sin.Interesting, but what it means to be spiritually blind? Well, we also learn from John 9:41, it means to not know the Light, the pharisee were aware of the Light, Jesus Christ, that's way Jesus said: "but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth."; they were totally against the Light, they were not just evil but they were of Satan, that's why Jesus said that their father is the devil, Satan. So not every man is a sinner, only the ones who are aware of the Light and yet they hate it.I give you one more example, there are places in the Bible where God judges a person, a group of people or a nation right there but there are other places where God is able to give one more chance to a person, a group of people or a nation, why? Think about the story of Jonah, God saved that city, but why did God said about those people? He said: "Shall I not pity Nineveh, the great city that has more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left—and much livestock?"; you see? They had no idea of what is truly wrong and what is truly right, they had no idea who is the Light, but they Light came to them through Jonah and because they accepted it, they were saved.
Now, check Genesis 32:22-32, where we read the story of Jacob fighting with God, I don't think this was a physical fight, this has a lot more to say.
