My teacher died yesterday, I was wondering could you all pray for her and her family/friends.

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Loving Father who has prepared our paths, who keeps his watchful eye over us, who hears our thoughts and cries - Lord, we lift up this family who have just lost their beloved. We ask for your Holy Spirit to be amongst them so that while they are mourning, they also experience a sense of peace. Lord Jesus, may they find loving comfort in those around them, may they delight in fond memories of this teacher, may they treasure the time they had with this loved one. Most of all Lord, may they see testimony of You through the memories of this teacher. In your Name, we pray. Amen.

My God, you are awesome and wise. I stand before you now in thanksgiving for the life of this teacher and for the many she touched, and as many will miss. I ask you Lord to lift up and strengthen those that Loved this teacher, and those whose lives she touched.
I pray oh God, that you prepare a place of peace for those left behind as this teacher has gone on to their reward.
