  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Cool, well maybe this will be your easiest labor yet then.

Thanks, that's what I thought.
I dunno--- I had one that was two hours long, that I spent baking--the only complication was that the baby had a nuchal arm.... it doesn't get much better than that!

Though I noticed with my last labor--that my uterus just literally seemed to stop working at the end of second stage...and my labor was really hard.

I figure with my seventh full term (hopefully) birth...that my body could do with a lot of help!

Anyone know how long tea is 'good' for???....I have a ton of pregnancy tea around from a couple of years ago.

I pulled out my box of RRL tea (by Traditional Medicinals) from Feb/March 05 and it has an expiration date printed very lightly on the side panel (had to hold in the light to read it) - it says June 07...so yay, mine's still good. :D Anyway, check the side of your box.

Hey - and Traditional Medicinals has a store locator on their website. I had to enter the city and state, zip didn't work, and it's also not a comprehensive list, but it might help you find it locally.

Shoot! It's not in the box anymore...it's in a tin... oh, well maybe I ought to just fork over the money and buy a new box?? I am such a cheapskate.

It might even be from two babies ago:scratch: I kinda lose track...

I bought some pregnancy tea today and had some this evening - pretty yummy. :p

I have a question though. After the tea is properly prepared, do you need to drink it right away (warm) or could I put it in the fridge and later drink it chilled? Does this affect the medicinal qualities? I'm okay with drinking it warm but I prefer cold drinks.

Best wishes mamas! I was a pregnancy tea drinker all three times... though I did have prodromal labor (seemingly unaffected by whether or not I drank the RRL) with my 2nd and 3rd babies- I had nice, efficient and short labors (8 hrs induced with #1, 4 hrs with #2 and 2 hrs with #3).

Enjoy your tea and your pregnancies. I miss being pregnant though I adore my snugglebug.
