  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The scripture is very clear on if it is right or wrong to have tatoos. I understand you feel the tatoos are a symbol of your love for God and Jesus but the scripture is black and white. Hope this has helped. :)

how does this fit in with the questions raised by others in this thread. if you follow this verse then you have to follow every verse which means chances are you will need to walk around naked and thats just the beginning!

And yet in Ezekiel 16 (verse 12) does not God's allagory for Jerusalem, in all her beauty, is she not given a "ring for her nose"??
Sounds like this body piercing was good enough for Jerusalem and pronounced as "beautiful" by our Lord.

Perhaps not as black and white as one might think, my friend.

Peace,
- Niff
