  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

As far as the pics...I don't know how to post those, but I tried to find a link and now I am a bit confused? I found pics that vary GREATLY from each other. I thought the Sacred Heart was a heart encircled by thorns with a crown and a flame on top, and the Immaculate Heart was a heart pierced by a sword with a crown and flame on top? Well, now I've seen the SH as plain with the IH having the thorns, sword, etc...and the SH with the thorns, but no crown, and the IH with the sword but circled with roses?

Will the REAL SH and IH please step forward??

Immaculate Heart of Mary. Depictions vary, but there are usually swords piercing the heart. Like the one on the top.

hmm..

I am not trying to lay hot coals on anyone's head by sharing this, but a few years back I was considering getting a tattoo. I was in my mid twenties I think. I had three girlfriends who together with them we had an annual event where we rented a teepee at state park and partied all weekend and in a few drunken conversations, thought it would be real cool to go and teepees tatooed on our rears as a symbol of our female bonding. THANK GOD that never came to pass, because the idea now of me going into the doctors office when I'm 80 to get a hemerroid or something removed, and having a saggy teepee hanging there is pretty mortifying. The doctors and nurses would probably laugh hysterically.

Anyway, I don't see anything wrong with it really, especially if it has a religious connotation, but think long and hard before you do it. It's not permanent, but getting them removed is costly and expensive from what I've heard. And if you're still in your teens, give it some time. Wait til you at least 18 or something. Just my 2 cents, probably unwarranted but there you have it.

LOL! like I'm doing now ;)

Anyway, yes, I agree with you on that, but apparently if I get ot on my bicep, it shouldn't ever become really... er... "droopy" at least not compared to most other areas... that's just what I've been told though.

And as for those of you gangin' up on me about my age... ;) It's probably a non-issue anyway because there is a very substantial chance of me moving out before the year's end, but you're all right and if I was still living with my parents when I got the tattoo, I would *probably* ask them first :)

I have a Tattoo its the Chinese Symbol for " Truth And Honesty" I got it because the truth is something you can always rely on and Honesty is the most important charasteric I look for in a person, but I do wish now that I would of thought about it a bit more instead of rushing into it, im just glad there not large there only very small and on my right shoulder, but I too have thought of getting a religious symbol, I would never get anything else, and sorta regreat getting my first tattoo cause it was a spur of the moment thing really.

I guess it would just be more motivation for you to stay in shape, keep pumping that iron. :D :)
