  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

This is what one of the guys had to say, and I dont really uinderstand what is meant by this. First comes what I said:
Now, I dont know Weslyan theology, but you confused me here. You said God allows us to live free of intentional sin. Are you saying that God frees us from sin? That from that point we could live a sin free life?
Then the 2 responses:
there's a difference between living a sin free life and an intentional sin free life. EVERYBODY slips up from time to time. One slips past the goaltender and oops, we've sinned. Not so intentional there. However, as a Wesleyan we believe that if entirely sanctified you can life an intentional sin free life. Meaning we're not going out and sinning on purpose because in the long run we know we're saved.
Yes, we could live just as Jesus. We are washed completely clean, we are reborn as a new person. We are perfect and COULD walk a sin free life for the rest of our life in theory.
