I'm not from Cyprus, no. Norway is pretty cold right now. It is a good country to live in, where I can get everything I need, but I wish I can go to somewhere warm some day.

Life often feels like a kind of ironic horror movie. For example here we sit and write on our computers while we wait to die. It can happen any minute, and anything can happen. And all over the world terrible things are happening, while we try to ignore it and have some fun instead.

We should do whatever God tells us to do about it.

The world God has placed us in seem meaningless to me. I have no clue why He would want us to live here, and I guess I will never understand it as long as I live, so I can't really say if it is right or wrong. It is just the way life is, and there is nothing we can do about it. If God wants this, no matter how absurd it is, then there must be reasons for it that we don't know.

What about if I said that God endured the ultimate pain and suffering by sending his own son to die in our place, would you then say there is someone understanding as to why we don't have an easy ride?

Well, God could just have hidden that knowledge tree somewhere else then in the middle of the garden of Eden I guess. But as I said: I have no idea why that happened, so I can't really say anything about what God wants or not even who He is. But I am sure there is something good coming though.

What brought you to Christ and convinced you of the truth of Jesus and that you want a relationship with Him (assuming you have one)?

Me and a friend was stoned, then he talked about his father that had become a Christian, and then we started to talk about Christianity, and we thought it was a nice feeling to talk about it. So after he left I read in a new testament I had, and made up my mind to become a Christian.

What convinced me was the Holy Spirit. I had no explanations of what the Holy Spirit was, I only noticed that He was filling me when I was thinking or talking about Christianity, so I realized that this was a power that was beyond me and my mind, but had a life on his own.
