Taking the Lord's name on TV and and media programming

I agree with taking the Lord's name in vain. However, at the risk of sounding naive, when someone goes even farther (I'm referring to when they believe the Lord's first name should be followed by a curse word.), why does His name get bleeped out? How about the curse word? How about the entire "phrase"? I have noticed that yet I don't understand it.

I absolutely hate when they take the Lord's or God's name in vain when I hear it in anything, be it TV show, video game or movie. And I noticed, they do it a lot! In fact, Hollywood especially in their films, have been using GD and JC in their films for a good 45 years plus now. It really does irk me!

I work in the TV & Film industry in LA, and were not all in cahoots with Satan. I hear people taking the Lord's name in vain out in the World more than I do on TV or Film. I don't say it myself and hate it when I hear other people do. But it happens much more on the streets in comparison to the screen. Go to a military base and you'll hear it all day long. I grew up in a military family and always hated it when I heard the Lord's name used in vain, and it happened a lot...sadly.

Oh, I have a very hard time believing that Hollywood is Satanic.

If you look at the end credits of movies, the list is thousands and thousands of names long - sometimes categories have multiple columns of names because there's so many people involved.

In the United States, as of 2010, 78% of people polled identified themselves as Christians.

Even if that number in Hollywood is half that (not just actors or directors, I mean everyone..costume designers, set designers, special effects teams, stunts..everyone), that means over 1/3 of Hollywood/connected businesses have Christians working there
