This prediction not only showed the knowledge of God, but his power. He gave, as it were, this warning to idolatry, that it might be on its guard, and defend itself against this Josiah whenever a person of that name should be found sitting on the throne of David; and no doubt it was on the alert, and took all prudent measures for its own defence; but all in vain, for Josiah, in the eighteenth year of his reign, literally accomplished this prophecy, as we may read, 2Ki 23:15-20.

The subject of salvation never even came up in this thread or at least we never mentioned it that I remember. I would not say that weak brethren who just eat herbs and not meat were not saved. Thomas was saved, even though He doubted Jesus rose from the dead. If there are any doubting Thomases caught up in naturalydunnit science, then they will have to face God about it and learn one day. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we do well to cast down imaginations and stuff that exalt themselves against the knowledge of the most high (which includes knowing He created)

You do it with such energy and such persistence that one cannot avoid seeing it. The first statement of the Nicene Creed, the basic statement of faith for all Christians, reads "I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible."
Your sole purpose has been to make that statement conditional on acceptance of a literal and inerrant Genesis and give the lie to anyone who professes it without that condition.

So what? It doesn't advance your case. That God exists is neither affirmed nor denied by science. The literal inerrancy of Genesis is another story, but fulfilled prophecy does not prove it.
