Embedded age is maturity without history. So what's the difference between memories that indicate a past which never occurred and a physical body which indicates a past which never occurred?

Embedded age is maturity without history.
So why did God embed a false history into his creation?
Again, embedded age is maturity without history. So why did God embed a false history into his creation?
False by whose standards?
Again, embedded age is maturity without history.
There was no history embedded into His creation: false or otherwise.
Do mature trees that have fruit on them count as "misleading"?I think what is being asked is why would God embed over 4 billion years of misleading geologic evidence in the earth?
If not, what about mature geologic structures?Adam Clarke's Commentary said:It appears that God created every thing, not only perfect as it respects its nature, but also in a state of maturity, so that every vegetable production appeared at once in full growth; and this was necessary that man, when he came into being, might find every thing ready for his use.
I'm sure God had His reasons.Which makes no sense to me biblically or scientifically. Why would God create what he did in Genesis 1 and then leave 4.54 billion years of physical evidence that contradicts it.

I think what is being asked is why would God embed over 4 billion years of misleading geologic evidence in the earth? The standards would be the full body of scientific literature published in the peer review journals.
That's certainly your prerogative, Rick; but please understand: an allegory is a creative interpretation as well.Like I have said many times previously AV, I look at Genesis 1 as an allegory. That way I don't have to manufacture a creative interpretation. The earth is known to be much older than 6,000 years through many different lines of physical evidence. I do not believe God to be a deceiver which an embedded age would imply.

Yes, indeed!So man's standards. Gotcha.
Of course, who else's would it be?
Actually your understanding of embedded age would imply this. Perhaps there is no problem with the theory of embedded age, perhaps the problem is with your understanding of the theory.I do not believe God to be a deceiver which an embedded age would imply.

If god ever did, I'm sure it would jibe with the evidence we already have.
