1: What relgious label would you give yourself?
Just a Kosher Jew livin the Vida Torah

Have you actually read the ENTIRE bible?
Nope.

How many times a week do you go to a service?
Twice

How many times a day do you pray?
9 I think.....atleast 9.

Do you believe in the doctrine of the Trinity?
I deny it with every fiber of my body.

Do you believe we are living in "End Times"
No.

Do you believe the Bible is infalliable?
No.

Do you have family members of a faith diffrent then yours?
No

Who do you think goes to heaven and who goes to hell?
Good people go to heaven, bad people go to hell.

Who do you think could run a marathon faster, Benny Hinn or Joyce Meyers?
If they had to run it in their service suits, Benny would win by defualy becuase Mrs. Meyers couldn't do it in her high heels. On the otherhand, if they were both in running outfits, Joyce would win, Benny might be quicker off line, but as we can see from his shows, his stamina would fail him and he would quickly dehydrate

I don't really like labels, although seeing that I frequent the Messianic forum, that would probably apply

Yes

I have no idea. I pray throughout the day.

Not sure

7:Do you believe the Bible is infalliable?
Lately I have had 'concerns' about some of it. I plan to study more and go further in depth before saying that the 'entire' Bible is infallible.

YatzivPatgam said:
8: Do you have family members of a faith diffrent then yours?
My entire family is atheist/agnostic except for my mom who is a born again, fundamentalist Christian.

YatzivPatgam said:

Those who have faith in (and therefore obey) G-d go to heaven, those who don't choose to go to hell.

I'm embarassed to say that I don't know who either of these people are, so I don't know who could run faster.

1: What relgious label would you give yourself?
( i.e Catholic,Christian,Orthodox Hindu,etc,etc )

Christian

2: Have you actually read the ENTIRE bible?
( Bible = Christian rendition, KJV,NIV,etc )

Probably not. Read certain books over and over (1st half of "old testament", Revelations, etc) and skimmed the rest.

3: How many times a week do you go to a service?

One...at one point I was up to three but ever since I becamed confused again about my spiritual direction: One, if God's lucky :(

4: How many times a day do you pray?
Hopefully at least once.

5: Do you believe in the doctrine of the Trinity?
I think so. Depends on what you mean when you say it.

6: Do you believe we are living in "End Times"
Aren't we always? I don't get obssessed with the end of the world if that's what you mean (no "Rapture" believer here!).

7: Do you believe the Bible is infalliable?

Um..I believe God's Word is true. What his Word is exactly is something I'm struggling with right now.

8: Do you have family members of a faith diffrent then yours?

Not really. I think I'm the one that's done the most research though :-D

9: Who do you think goes to heaven and who goes to hell?

It's for God to judge. He established a covenant with the people of Israel and those who obeyed him were blessed. Then when Jesus (and I believe a lot of stuff about him, so the things he said are important to me) came he said "those who believe in me shall not be condemned" and so forth. Hence I believe those who believe in Jesus will go to heaven.

10: Who do you think could run a marathon faster, Benny Hinn or Joyce Meyers?

*headache* I don't even want to think about it.But hey, no matter which one runs the marathon, I'm sure they'll raise a lot of money.
:D *drum beat*

Jewish Feast observing charismatic calvinist

2: Have you actually read the ENTIRE bible?

most of it, probably 90% I think I skipped some begats... I haven't read it straight through

3: How many times a week do you go to a service?
twice (one service, one Bible study group)

4: How many times a day do you pray?

it varies... at least once, most often just throughout the day

5: Do you believe in the doctrine of the Trinity?
yes

6: Do you believe we are living in "End Times"

yes, as in that which has been going on for almost 2000 years... I have no idea how close we are to Jesus' return... maybe in my lifetime... if not it would not cause me to doubt

7 Do you believe the Bible is infalliable?
yes

8: Do you have family members of a faith diffrent then yours?
different denominations, yes... and we (my parents mostly) disagree on many things... but no relatives I know of that are of a religion other than one labeled Christian (with the exception of my cousins who are atheists)

9: Who do you think goes to heaven and who goes to hell?
the elect goes to heaven, everyone else hell (though I heard some interesting arguments that they just cease to exist)

10: Who do you think could run a marathon faster, Benny Hinn or Joyce Meyers?

lol I can't answer without being ornery

5) No. However.... I do believe Yeshua is begotten of God and his anointed one, sent from him. But I do not believe he is co-equal with the Father.

1: What relgious label would you give yourself?

Catholic Christian. I do not like the fact that you separate Catholic and Christian. Catholic and Protestant would have been a better categorical division.

2: Have you actually read the ENTIRE bible?
( Bible = Christian rendition, KJV,NIV,etc )
I have read almost every book of the New Testament. As for the OT I have fully read Genesis, Wisdom and Daniel, and am currently in an in-depth study of Isaiah.

3: How many times a week do you go to a service?
I go to Mass every week, and go to Confession on average two to three times a month.

4: How many times a day do you pray?
More than I can count.

5: Do you believe in the doctrine of the Trinity?
Yes.

6: Do you believe we are living in "End Times"
Maybe. I really do not know.

7 Do you believe the Bible is infalliable?
I believe the original manuscripts are infallible. Translations are not infallible though.

8: Do you have family members of a faith diffrent then yours?
Yes, my father. Possibly others, but I have not talked about it at length with them and so cannot know for sure.

9: Who do you think goes to heaven and who goes to hell?
I believe that those who love God go to Heaven. I think those that reject God go to hell.

10: Who do you think could run a marathon faster, Benny Hinn or Joyce Meyers?
I do not know who Joyce Meyers is, but I think that Benny Hinn would break his leg and be unable to heal himself, and he would lose. So my vote goes for Joyce Meyers. :)

I don't know now - I was baptised a Baptist (Christian) but in all honesty I relate more to the Messianic faith now (things seems to be falling into place for me). Maybe, I could be growing up to become a Messianic Gentile .

YatzivPatgam said:

2: Have you actually read the ENTIRE bible?

Yes, but not all at once. I use to regularly read from it every day.

3: How many times a week do you go to a service?
Because of where we're living I do not go to a service.

4: How many times a day do you pray?
I'd say minimum twice a day if I don't include praise, talking etc

5: Do you believe in the doctrine of the Trinity?
I'm not sure I do - still reading into it though

6: Do you believe we are living in "End Times"
Yes

7:Do you believe the Bible is infalliable?
I use to but now I'm reading differently - still looking into this also

8: Do you have family members of a faith diffrent then yours?
Yes, my husband is a Muslim

9: Who do you think goes to heaven and who goes to hell?
I believe that only the L-rd knows

Who's Joyce Meyers? ;)

1: What relgious label would you give yourself?
( i.e Catholic,Christian,Orthodox Hindu,etc,etc )
For the record, I hate labels, but for the sake of simplicity: Judaism.

2: Have you actually read the ENTIRE bible?
( Bible = Christian rendition, KJV,NIV,etc )
Yes. In high school alone I read the bible over 20-some times cover to cover, and I've read it numerous times since then (and a couple of times in Jr. High).
I personally own over 10 translations, probably closer to 20 translations.

3: How many times a week do you go to a service?
Varies. Always on Erev Shabbat (fri. evening) and sometimes for Torah Study on Sat. Morning, and sometimes to various other meetings/classes throughout the week. So, anywhere from 1-4

4: How many times a day do you pray?
Minimum of 3 on my own, and usually again in the evening with my wife.

5: Do you believe in the doctrine of the Trinity?
no

6: Do you believe we are living in "End Times"
Don't know. Don't really care either. However, it seems likely as Israel has been founded as a nation again, and Torah is/will be going forth from Jerusalem.

7Do you believe the Bible is infalliable?
mmm... tough quesiton.
I believe, as Judaism teaches, that there are levels of 'inspiration'. The Torah holds the highest level of inspiration as it came directly from the mouth of G-d, and so forth. However, we currently don't have the original texts in our hands, so no one can say with perfect absoluteness that the texts we have today are the same as Moshe received. Yet, when we consider the meticulous manner in which the torah is copied from generation to generation it is doubtful it has changed at all.

I can not say the same for the Tenach though. The same level of care given to the Torah is not given to the Tenach. I definately think they are inspired. That much is given. But what level of 'inspiration' do they fall within? I just pray HaShem will guide me to truth, and leave it at that.

8: Do you have family members of a faith diffrent then yours?
Yes. I have family members at varying levels of faith, and of varying faiths. However, my wife and I are of the same faith.

9: Who do you think goes to heaven and who goes to hell?
Those who are faithful to HaShem will go to heaven, and those who deny him by heart and action will go to hell.

10: Who do you think could run a marathon faster, Benny Hinn or Joyce Meyers?
They can run? I thought they just floated around "by faith alone". huh, I guess you learn something new everyday.

1: What relgious label would you give yourself?

I would have to say as these days a Messianic Believer

2: Have you actually read the ENTIRE bible?
( Bible = Christian rendition, KJV,NIV,etc )?
No, You see I am not one to skim read anything, I study every line, check reference, read on the implication of passages. Refer and re-translate in some case the original text.
The point is I just never had the time: from Joshua-lamentations, I only hear of in church
Plus I have read 1 Samuel, psalms, proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Job
My guided study is from all over.
My self-learning based study is mainly: Mathew, the Torah
My deep case study: epistles Rabbi Sha'ul(Paul)
3: How many times a week do you go to a service??
1-3, sometimes when the times work out I can go to both messianic and UCG on the Shabbat.
I try to meet the messianic every Wednesday.
Other wise: it just the UCG service
But keep it mind between the worship, a sermon, a sermonette, and bible study, it no little service
4: How many times a day do you pray??
If prayer is me talking to G-d, I do it all the time.
If you mean in a more formal sense, first thing when I get up-last thing before I go to bed. And a few times in between.
5: Do you believe in the doctrine of the Trinity??
No, One body, One Mind,One love, One G-d (Praise El--o--him)
6: Do you believe we are living in "End Times"?
Yes

7: Do you believe the Bible is infalliable??
Depends in what sense,
but,
Does it lie? No
Is it filter through the minds of man? Offten
8: Do you have family members of a faith diffrent then yours??
Yes, most are Roman Catholic
9: Who do you think goes to heaven and who goes to hell?
I don’t really believe in heaven and hell in the mainstream set of mind.
But the wicked, get their wish of a world without G-d (non existence)
The good do get to live with God, but not in till he comes down to get them.
See http://christianforums.com/t58735 for details
10: Who do you think could run a marathon faster, Benny Hinn or Joyce Meyers?
It would be a fun race to watch

Can I give this a go? I'm not as spiritually mature as some so be nice ok? I'm just trying to love G-d and be as close to Him as I can and I'm still searching for my path in Him.

1: What relgious label would you give yourself?
G-d loving, Chr-st believing person.

2: Have you actually read the ENTIRE bible?
Yes....but that's not to say that I understand everything. I believe that it's called the living word for a reason...I think the Word is revealed and revealed, sort of like pealing the petals back on a flower...Milk for babies to meat for the mature. (hope that made some sort of sense)

How many times a week do you go to a service
None. I have attended several denominational churches and have not yet found where I belong.

4: How many times a day do you pray?
Almost constantly. 3 to 4 formal prayers and ongoing conversations with the G-d throughout the day.

5: Do you believe in the doctrine of the Trinity?
Yes but not as 3 separate deities. I'll try to explain but probly not well. lol
G-d said, Let us make man in our own image. I don't think this is the mortal body....rather I am a trinity...body, soul (mind, will, emotion), and spirit.
G-d is not contained as we in the physical body.
my body is me, my soul is me, and my spirit is me.
Sort of like:
F-ther who is the will, L-rd who is the spoken word of the will (for the world was spoken into existance) and the Holy Sp-rit who performs the spoken will. Well, I gave it a shot. Next!

6: Do you believe we are living in "End Times"
Yes.....the end of this age.

7:Do you believe the Bible is infalliable?
I believe the Word of G-d is infallible.

8: Do you have family members of a faith diffrent then yours?
yes.

9: Who do you think goes to heaven and who goes to hell?
I'll let G-d judge that but I'm hoping to be in the first section.

10: Who do you think could run a marathon faster, Benny Hinn or Joyce Meyers?
I'm going with you on this one. ;o>

1: What relgious label would you give yourself?

Messianic Gentile, only because I don't like the connotations of the term "Christian."

2: Have you actually read the ENTIRE bible?
( Bible = Christian rendition, KJV,NIV,etc )
Unfortunately not.

3: How many times a week do you go to a service?
I don't believe in an "institutional" church, but I do go once in awhile. I'm mainly put off by attitudes and doctrines of "Christian" believers.

4: How many times a day do you pray?
Inconsistently, but I never cease to share thoughts and feelings with God throughout the day.

5: Do you believe in the doctrine of the Trinity?
Yes, but not in the doctrinal sense.

6: Do you believe we are living in "End Times"
Most certainly.

7 Do you believe the Bible is infalliable?
Yes I do, but again, in a way different from the established norm of understanding.

8: Do you have family members of a faith diffrent then yours?
Mom's a New Ager and Dad is of his own eclectic belief. I guess I know enough about it to label it to be a primitive and demonic religion.

9: Who do you think goes to heaven and who goes to hell?
I have to agree with Pray4Israel here: "That's not for me to decide but if I had to name a criteria it would be found in Romans 10:13 for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.'"

10: Who do you think could run a marathon faster, Benny Hinn or Joyce Meyers?
Joyce only because I like her and don't know Benny Hinn is.

2: Have you actually read the ENTIRE bible?
( Bible = Christian rendition, KJV,NIV,etc )
Many times. I've lost count, but I've read the New Testament more than I have the Old Testament, and I've read the OT many times.

I started that practice in high school and am still doing it.

3: How many times a week do you go to a service?
Once. On Sunday to Divine Liturgy.

I would go much more often, but I live over an hour away from my church.

4: How many times a day do you pray?
I talk to God constantly.

5: Do you believe in the doctrine of the Trinity?
Yes, Yes, Yes! WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING.

It's impossible to be a Christian otherwise.

6: Do you believe we are living in "End Times"
The "end times" began with the Incarnation of the Divine Logos of God, Jesus Christ.

I do not believe we have any idea how close we are to the Second Coming (or how far away from it), however. The world could end tomorrow, or it could last another million+ years.

7:Do you believe the Bible is infalliable?
I believe it is infallible in accomplishing what God intended for it.

Is it a science textbook? No.

8: Do you have family members of a faith diffrent then yours?
Oh, yeah: Roman Catholics on my Dad's side, and nominal Protestants on my Mom's.

9: Who do you think goes to heaven and who goes to hell?
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the only Way to heaven.

But it is not up to me to say who goes to heaven and who goes to hell.

10: Who do you think could run a marathon faster, Benny Hinn or Joyce Meyers?
As long as the two of them are running in some direction other than the one I'm going in, I'm happy.

I think if you put a fat wallet at the finish line, it would be a dead heat and an exciting wrestling match at the end.

a note on the 'trinity'

The concept of the 'trinity' in MJ'ism is different than expressed by typical christian denominations. Some, such as P4I, accept the traditional redering of the 'trinity'... while others, such as myself, feel that certain dogmas were added to the 'trinity' through the years and avoid using the 'trinity' terminology, not to mention in its current form would violate Jewish theology.

For example, Y'shua is considered a part of G-d, as illustrated in certain Isaiah passages where the Messiah is the right arm of HaShem. As well, there is seen a level of authority from one to the next... ie: the Messiah submits himself to the Father.
These are but a few of the highlighted differences between traditional christian interpreations of the 'trinity' and the way that the Messianic Faith views the role of the Messiah, the Father, and the Ruach HaKodesh (spirit of holiness)

Shalom,
Yafet.
