TAKE up your CROSS (dress up contest)

In this dress up contest I would like you to wear a cross, hold a cross or show a cross on your screenshot in a way.

I would like you to write (abt. 150-250 words +/-) about the effect the quoted Bible verse has on you personally. What does it mean to you to ''take up your cross and follow Jesus''? Does it mean just to bear burdens and suffer hardships for the Lord, or is it about a total dedication of your life to Him? Do you trust Him enough to let Him take total control of your will and your life? Is there anything specific in your life that really costs to sacrifice in your daily walk with Christ? Have you found joy in your surrendering to Jesus?

This is not an easy subject, so if you don't want to give your personal ''testimony'' about this, then it is OK, and you may rather quote a Bible verse that speaks to you about living as a Christian.

This contest begins today and ends on Saturday Oct. 20th. There is room for max. 20 contestants. I will take your screenshot when you are ready.

I need 3 judges, so please tell me if you would like to be a judge.

Also, do you think the drop in interest is possibly due to the fact that these are now in a separate forum and not everyone is seeing them, and thus joining? Or, do you think people are just burned out on the dress-up games right now?

Just curious as to your (or anyone's) take on this... I've noticed a few other contests only garnering the interest of around 10 people or so... It seems that this is just since we opened the sub-forum, but that might just be me!

Thanks, this weekend is just AWESOME beyond belief! We have been to some meetings with the Canadian couple Jeremy and Connie Sinnott. Wow!

I can not read people's minds, but my guess is that people prefer some light hearted games for the time being. Just look at the two others I am running now, ''black and white'' with 25 contestants, which was the max No. and the ''afternoon tea'' with 28 contestants this far. Both games signed up within 2 - 3 days. That really amused me and surprised me to see. Not every idea is a ''hit'', I guess.
