Peace.
Our God is merciful towards us as He gives us knowledge so that we may know Him who is true. The Son of God is come and gives us an understanding as He opens up the Scriptures to our ears and minds…and we are to take heed on how we hear so that more shall be given to us. We show that we know God by how we respond to the hearing of the voice of His Son. We know God by the keeping of His commandments....showing brotherly love towards the "strangers" sent out by Him to speak His words of eternal life and spirit.
1 John 5:20 KJV
(20) And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
If we hear His voice today opening up the Scriptures to our hearing ears, let us be renewed in the spirit of our minds. We are to put off the former behavior of the old man….the envy, the strife, the contentions, the wrath...and put on the new man which after God is created in righteousness and TRUE holiness.
Ephesians 4:20-24 KJV
(20) But ye have not so learned Christ;
(21) If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
(22) That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
(23) And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
(24) And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Let us hear His voice today and “gird up the loins of our minds” and be “sober” and not be found by Him “drunk” on the wine of wrath. The wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God. Let us be found by Him as being obedient children and not be found behaving as we did in the churches of men where we do not hear the Word of Truth…in the ignorance of carnal men who preach the word of men rather than the Word of God in truth and sincerity. The carnal churches of men fight and strive among themselves about who is account the greatest among them in their ignorance of the Truth.
1 Peter 1:13-16 KJV
(13) Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
(14) As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
(15) But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
(16) Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
We were once “dead” in trespasses and sins within the churches of men (the “graves”)….but we are to hear His voice and come forth and do good towards the hearing of His voice unto the resurrection of life.
John 5:28-30 KJV
(28) Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
(29) And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
How we respond to the hearing of His voice determines our judgment. As He hears, He judges.
(30) I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
Some will hear His voice and do good. They will show forth their faith in good deeds and enter into the joy of the Lord as they will rejoice in what they hear Him saying. They will take heed on how they hear and will enter in to know the mysteries of the kingdom. More shall be given.
An honest and good heart shall hear and keep His Word and bring forth the fruit of righteousness with patience.
Luke 8:15-18 KJV
(15) But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
An honest and good heart shall not hide his faith within his own heart but shall bring it forth so that others may see. The Word of God spoken in truth and sincerity will manifest what is in the hearts of men as they will hear and either believe and do good or will not believe and will do evil. Nothing is secret that shall not be made manifest. It shall be known what is hidden in the hearts of men and His voice shall make it manifest.
(16) No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
(17) For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.
We must bring forth good fruits towards the hearing of His voice. We are to take heed on how we hear for whosoever has, to him shall be given more. Those who do not have bring forth any fruits of righteousness, from him shall be taken event that which he seemed to have.
(18) Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
Those who do not have shall not be given more knowledge. Those who do not have shall not enter into the joy of the Lord as they will hear and behave badly towards His voice. There will be “weeping and gnashing of teeth” towards what they hear as those who will not bring forth good fruit will not enter in to His knowledge and will not rejoice in what they hear with their ears.
