  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I was wondering if there are any other martial artists here. My whole family goes. Were changing to a new school this September and thats gonna be difficult at first but the new school offers more weapons training and its just a better program with out all the drama we got at the old school.

Just curious if theres anyone else here in martial arts.

My oldest children are in tai kwon do too. Two are black belts and one is a red belt. They like it most of the time and it distinguishes them from others. They are in good health and more disciplined, most of the time, than other children their ago from what I've seen.

I feel silly starting at 25 'cause I think most people start at 5... That's only 20 years late, though! LOL
Not at all too late! I know quite a few who started in their late 20's. 40 is a common age as well. 50 not so common, but it's not rare...

My husband and I do TKD. We are purple belts and progressing slowly but we enjoy it and are in no hurry. BTW we started in our 30's. It's never too late. My Dojong has many in their 40's to 60's starting as well as 4 yr olds.
