T-shirt making.

I'm really interested in starting a small business of making t-shirts for a little extra money, and I've studied a lot on the subject. The problem is, to make really professional looking " screen" t-shirts, you have to have equipment that costs several thousand dollars, and if you make your own press, you can only use a few colors on the t-shirt. And I don't think iron-ons would work very well, unfortunately. Does anyone know how to affordably make professional-looking t-shirts at home besides buying expensive equipment?

have you ever tried the iron on paper and using your computer to design the shirt and print it off on the iron on paper and trim the design. that's what i do and it works well for me.
