Thanks for maintaining this @FreeinChrist. I'm not sure how we found ourselves here, but it ended up very interesting, IMO.

There's almost certainly rational explanations for why that^ happens. Leaping first to a-causal or other unknowable "explanations" is really lazy - and almost certainly wrong, given what we do know.

These forces just seem "invisible" because they operate at scales beyond the naked human senses. Like over long times or very short distances.

That said, I dont rule out genuinely non-intelligible "forces" at work in the world.

Superstitious types who are overly eager to find a-causal meaning connections would surely find some dire symbolism between a rash of plane wrecks and a new chaotic presidential administration.

In other words, this view of things probably doesnt favor Trump at all.

People, can we please get back on the topic of trying to blame this tragedy on Alex Lifeson? In a country where a drunk male prostitute can successfully masquerade as a rock star, how could we not expect a plane to someday land upside down? Sinchronicity is real, even if I don't spell it right.
