stupid ppl they must use their brains. why should whats unacceptable for males be acceptable when its females? when why should it be ok if they have permission from their partner? adultery is adultery. theyre just playing with words and avoidnig the real meaning of God's Word. what do they take God for? simple: they dont take God for nethin at all. such ppl have no sense of sin, which means they've never met or known Christ, clear as that. their sorta muddy conscience belongs only to unbelievers.

Its adultery, plain and simple.
Hard to believe that professing christians would find a way to make this lawful in Gods eyes, but then, scripture does show that when men want a lie that God will give it to them.

The doctrine behind this is based on many OT principles. I'm sure I have seen this site and debated there. Not that I judge who they are, I doubt the intentions set. If this is the same site, it even OK's sex with children to a degree.

Sure, many swing and have no jealousy or guilt and enjoy just the sex of it and continue in marriage. The creed " no harm done" is what they live by. However, I really wonder just how much love exist between the two.

Regardless of protection, many STD's, like herpes can be spread even with the use of condoms, as they only protect so much. I would think herpes would be at a high rate among swingers.

My advise, skip the swinging and get a love doll.....

I can agree with that.

However, STD's can cause harm. If your partaking of this behavior, you are taking a big risk at putting yourself and spouse in danger. Condoms can't protect against many STD's, so risking the behavior of having sex with those you don't know, if not sinful, really stupid.

Just thought I'd point out where in the Bible wives gave other women to their husband.
Sarah, Racheal and Leah .. all 3 were married to fathers of our faith. I believe Sarah's act was an act of sin because it wasn't an act of faith. But the Bible never refers to these acts as sin or adultery.

and claim to be washed in the blood of the Lamb, but would engage in such are absolutely

Poor example. Jacob's children are the makings of 12 Tribes of Israel.
Jacob was the son of Isaac, who was the promised son, God gave to Abraham
and Sarah. Abraham did not desire the handmaiden Hagar.

Neither Abraham nor Jacob were just out looking for some "strange".
Jacob didn't even choose Leah, He only wanted Rachel. Laban
(Rachel and Leah's Father) tricked him as well as
cheated him out of 7 years worth of labor....

Please. How on earth the circumstances of Abraham and Jacob could
be used to justify this nothing less than lust filled agenda and sex fest
by those who claim to be washed in the Lamb of God's blood is beyond me.

I think swinging is wrong, but I also think that the judgement of swingers done without love is just as wrong. Remember in Romans 1 it creates a list of those who are doing wrong in Gods eyes, but in Romans 2 Paul turns right around and says none of us are exempt from the list.

Permissive "swapping" is no different than what many "Christians" are doing today in their divorce/remarriage practices. They call their new marriages "lawful", yet Jesus calls them adultery. It is no different in the eyes of God than what the married swingers are doing-----degrade marriage as created and joined by God. Blessings.........

I ask you that because it appears to me that you don't believe man is subject to God's laws, but that God goes along with what man wants? That thinking is completely opposed to what we read in God's Word about His holiness, judgment of sin(temporal and eternal), His definition of sin, etc.

When God says, "every man does what is right in his own sight", it is not said in a spirit of happiness by the Lord, but is spoken as a contrast----how man has forsaken God's ways/laws in favor of their own.

See, I don't think God's laws are to opress humans, they are to HELP humans... the whole Bible is written as a guide for people to get along together, not as an arbitrary rule book that people must blindly follow, no matter what, without any understanding or introspection.

As such, adultery is a bad thing and against God... IF it is done without the knowledge of one partner, because it will hurt the slighted partner. But if BOTH partners do it, with the full knowledge and permission of the other, then no one gets hurt, so it is not against God...

There is absolutely no biblical evidence to support the notion that something is only a sin if it "appears" to hurt someone---otherwise God is AOK with all the things HE has defined as sin when it "appears" no one is hurt. ALL sin is destructive---in one way or another, temporally and eternally. God is Holy and God's laws are Holy............He is not mocked by man disregarding His laws and making up their own as they go along.

Adultery defiles the marriage bed. The definition of adultery is having unlawful relations with someone who is not your spouse or having unlawful relations with the spouse of another. It is sin, not only against the marriage partner God joins one to (whether they are "willing" or not is not the issue concerning guilt), but it is sin against the Holy commands of the Lord.
