Is there anyone else in here that loves swimming as much as i do

even if it is just Either for Fun or Compete i t is still amazing

I been swimming sense i was 3.. and I been on swim teams sense i was 18 !!

I love it. My mom used to take me swimming every day, since before I can remember (and according to her, before I could walk). I started swimming competitively when I was six, and did that until I was twenty. I was also a coach for the last few years of that. Competitive swimming also got me into water polo (which I also coached), diving, underwater hockey, and synchronized swimming (which was sort of strange for a boy to do). While I was pretty good, I was never great. Best achievement was 6th place in the province in the 100m backstroke. Some of the people I swam with and against did go on to the Olympics, but I never took it seriously enough to get to that level.

Nowadays, I don't get to swim as much as I used to (3 hours every weekday, with meets on the weekends is too much to keep up with now that I'm all grown up and lacking the free time I had as a teenager), but I still love to do it. Just being in the water is a great feeling. Lots of people imagine what it would be like to be a bird and they fantasize about flying through the sky; I imagine what it would be like to be a dolphin and swim freely in the ocean.

I love swimming and I used to swim from my 12 years and now I got a kid and he is now swimming..

I used to love swimming, but not so much anymore. I'm trying to get back into it though, since it's so good for you.
