Nah, it's not that bad actually. I enjoy working, and they usually work me pretty hard (which is fine by me, I basically get paid to get stronger right now); although, the past two days have been really slow (I find myself makin' my own work). Yeah, what are you studyin' anyway?

-Well that sounds like a pretty good profession I thought I was going to end up an Electrician; certainly have been educated to become one, and I attended a boot camp with the Main Power Company here last May (was thinking about going to next years' camp, but I'm pretty sure I'll keep learning Masonry instead). I've noticed how a lot of girls tend to find their desired profession earlier than most guys, I used to work for the main Phone company here, lots of Customer Service stuff, Spray foam, and retail (although, I never thought I'd be in retail long; didn't want to be either).

I'm a Bricklayer helper right now (ETA: I make mortar, carry bricks, load mortar for the bricklayers, and move scaffolding when they need to move up levels), I just joined the union; but, they're lining me up to become a Bricklayer Apprentice soon, and then it'll be a few years before I'm a Journeyman Bricklayer.

I've been involved in Masonry for quite some time though, my avatar is a Masonic symbol. It's somewhat of an inside joke for Masons, anyway, I don't know if you know much about Free-Masonry, but, I don't actually belong to a 'lodge'; I was invited many years ago to become one though... but, lol, this is a whole other thread on its own really.

It's great work there's a bunch of different areas of Masonry the company does, it's a fairly large company so there's plenty of room to advance and tons of new avenues of the craft to learn; like concrete, marble, granite. I'll be working out soon so I can start preparing to get stronger so I can work with those latter mediums, they're really really really heavy; bricks and mortar are heavy as it is, these would be a whole lot heavier.

I'm not too concerned about Free-Masons, I've been gifted an honorary position/title as a Free-Mason actually; there's a lot of misdirection in a lot of the information available to the public. They're a society of secrets, if all that information was true there would be a whole lot of infiltration.
