CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm generally interested how Canada is like, but I really dunno what to ask. So, I start from what I know: I know that James Logan (aka Wolverine) used to chop trees there, and I've seen few seasons of Canadian high school drama De Grassi.
So, I believe my sources are not the most reliable ones, so, anything general you want to add? How's the country like, compared to Europe (or US if you've never been to Europe) for example?

I have been to the US, but not EU. What I've noticed when I visited NJ and NY is that the trees are much taller from where I live. The streets are definitely wider than here, and SO much more restaurants, though more people of course.

As a young child I knew I didn't belong in this world, but I had no idea what that meant and I didn't realize at the time God was trying to give me a message. One I couldn't hear, only a constant feeling. In my heart I knew what was wrong, but I wanted a place to "fit in", so I played along with friends and "friends".
During that time of growing up, if I didn't keep searching for Him, I know I would have most likely ended up as Wiccan. However, that being said, I know even then I'd still feel empty.
