Someone said an attempt to remove guns would turn into a war, Salwell pointed out it would be a short war, and in the same tweet suggested negotiation and compromise a better idea.

In the future, when historians are looking back on the ashes of the US emipre, and discussing the point at which it was on a no return downhill slide, they are going to select that time where the political divide, the "hate the other side they are out to destroy us" got so strong, that people lose the ability to see an off color comment about nukes as an off color comment about nukes and instead can only believe it was meant seriously.

Read his tweet and the context will become easily obvious: some gun loon threatened civil war and he pointed out that the US government would hold an advantage in that war.
