I think that it's that they can't conspire to share the money beforehand - what they decide to do with the money afterwards is their business really. But I don't know for sure.


What I do know is that BIg Tom is GONE!!! And I for one am shocked beyond belief! I don't understand why Amber and Rob voted off the one who is the least threat to them. Bottom line, if Rupert makes final two, he will win. They have to know that. And he's a threat physically as well.

Not that I mind, I'm SO rooting for him.

Anyway, everyone DON'T FORGET THE FINALE IS ON THIS SUNDAY, NOT NEXT THURSDAY!!!!!!

Rob has ticked off many, many, people like Lex, Kathy, and now Tom and all three of them won't vote for him and come to think of it, Alicia won't either at all. I am hoping Rupert will win the whole entire thing. If they vote him off and it is down to Amber and Rob, Amber might win by a long shot because Rob has "befriended" but then betrayed Rob C, Lex, Alicia, and now Tom.

Bummer Rob won immunity. Wish the others would stop following and form some kind of plan of their own. It's kind of sad to see everyone at the mercy of the game instead of actually playing it. So, Tom's gone. They sure played him. Cool about the cars though.

So, the finale is this weekend? Sunday, right? Who's left? Rupert, Jenna, Amber and Rob. What a nice Mother's Day present...A two hour (three if you include the recap at 10:00) Survivor finale. I don't really care who wins...as long as it isn't Rob. There has to be some pay back for being that kind of person if there is any justice in the world.

Hope the next Survivor is a regular one. If there is to be a "next one" that is.

I think everyone is rooting for Rupert (at least they should be IMO ) Hopefully Rupert and Jenna are finally smart enough to vote either Rob or Amber off next tribal counsel.

That's the thing that worries me. Jenna's smart enough, but she's alienated herself by being such a vocal complainer and over all malcontent. (there must be more going on that we don't see, because she doesn't seem to be that vocal or malcontented )And Rupert, as likeable and honorable as he is, he doesn't seem to be smart about what to do to gain the advantage. Sure, I would love for him to win, but unless he kicks his game into high gear, they're just not going to let him get that far. He tried last night. But, argueing with Tom in front of Rob was a real mistake. What I don't understand is why neither of them considered that Rob was playing them. It was pretty obvious to me. The phrase "Consider the source" comes to mind. That's why I don't think Rupert is really that smart. Nice,yes. A hard worker, yes. Means what he says and really tries to be honest, sure. That's why we like him. But smart? I hate to say it, but he doesn't seem to be that smart. And in the real world, that's not really a big thing. I mean, he's got all the other components. But in this game, I think a person has to be constantly thinking at least 3 moves ahead. Not that that's easy to do.

I think Shii Ann was right, Amber's the one that's going to win it. Unless as it was said, Jenna and Rupert ban against either Rob or Amber. Rupert is still my favorite for winning the big prize. But, has anyone considered that #2 still gets a rather nice parting gift too? I would really not like to see someone like Rob get $100,000.00.

ITA Wisdom Seeker! Did you see the look of disgust on the jury's faces when Big Tom was voted off? That was priceless. I just can't believe that Rupert and Jenna are stupid enough to follow Rob and Amber, maybe they have something up their sleeve that we dont know about.

I agree 100% with you, Wisdom Seeker. Rupert is a great guy but yes, he isn't the "sharpest knive in the drawer" so to speak.

What I don't get is that Rob has literally back stabbed every person that is on the jury, right? He had an alliance or at least some type of agreement with each of them not to vote them out and yet he turned on each of them. Does he not think they are going to get together and figure this out before it is time to vote if he is one of the final two? Why would he think that they would vote for him to win when he has lied to each one of them?

I was thinking the same thing as you when Rob antagonized Rupert and Tom into fighting- it's exactly what John did on the last survivor!!!!!!

And did anyone catch the look on Lex's face when Rob said that he had lied to no one? It was priceless!

Yep, I also think that unless Rupert- who may be a sandwich short of a picnic- turns up his game, he is history. I think it will be Amber too.

That was priceless. Lex has made some great faces since being on the jury. I think I posted a while ago that I thought Amber was going to win, but I am too lazy to go back and see. lol I can't believe Big Tom and Rupert were argueing in front of Rob either! One look at his smug face and you could see that he was enjoying it. I don't want Rob to win, but I have to admit he has played the game really well. People trust him no matter what he has done, and they didn't vote him off when he had the chance. I think if Lex would have had his tribe vote Amber off, things would be so much different. He never should have trusted Rob. I hope Rupert wins too, but like you all have already said, he really doesn't play as smart as he could have. His trusting nature gets in the way. It would be so much fun if we could all get together and watch it together!

it was a huge mistake for rupert, jenna, and tom not to get rid of amber on thurs. now, they cannot have a majority. any voting will come down to a tie-breaker.

if amber and rob are the final 2, it could be interesting. i have seen the jury vote out the "hanger on" before and let the "snake" have the $$$$. it happened on the very 1st surviver, when richard hatch won it all.

Personally, I think that Richard Hatch was the smartest player in the Survivor's I've seen. (I didn't watch "Africa" for reasons I don't remember) I remember what's her name having a temper tantrum when it was her turn to talk. But I can't seem to remember much else.

* I'm not joking about not remembering. I had a nervous breakdown in my 20's and I still have problems with certain brain functions...like memory.

Personally, I think if Rob is thinking about who he can beat, Jenna's probably the only one that comes anywhere close. He can't beat Amber, He can't beat Rupert. Not where the jury is concerned. So...if Rob is smart, he'll keep her around. But I don't think that Rob is playing the game smart. I think he's playing the game through intimidation and aggressiveness...and a whole lot of lying. I'm surprised no one has commented on what he said about not being loyal to Amber either when it came to the money.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........I remember that the final 4 in the first Survivor were Richard, Rudy, Kelly and Sue. I think Rudy was number 2, but not sure. FR0G remembers all that stuff. You could probably find out at cbs.com

Yea, Amber and Rob were making me sick last night too My husband thinks they were still playing the game last night...he said that she wore that shirt so that just in case she lost, he would keep her around. And that he purposed to her because he knew he was going to lose. Who knows!!!
