Have you noticed that there is always at least ONE person who has to be over the age of 50 in the group? Or at least over 60. One or two 40 yo and the rest are either in their 20's or 30's.

Maybe those people that run those fish markets? LOL, I always think of the ones throwing fish at one another. I could be wrong, but that was my guess.

well that's probably a marketing thing for CBS, tying to appeal to a wider age group and pull in a larger audiance. Bigger the ratings, the more CBS can charge for advertisments.

that's just what I think, though. I have no proof.

They say on their website that they look for a diverse goup of people. Suprising this season, there does not seem to be much of an ethnic mix.

Saw an ad last night! no dates attached.... but i know it starts in september - we always get it a few days after you guys. Shame really, cause by the time I try and discuss it on here you've all exhausted your conversation for the week. I can't risk coming earlier cause it would be spoiled for me. I don't go near CBS.com for months at a time when it comes on.... just in case!

I think the ex NFL player is an interesting player.

And the Myan setting is pretty cool also. I wonder how they got permission. I would think that a camera crew and 16 survivors for 39 days could cause an awful lot of wear and tear.
