Recently I had to go to a urologist. Okay, not fun but doc was fine and no real problems.
Then a day or two later I get a request to "Review" the service. I open it up and the first question is: "How likely are you to recommend this service to family or friends"? (I hate this question!) The true answer would be "Not likely at all"; I don't have any family or friends that are looking to go to a urologist and it's not something that really comes up when you are talking with the neighbors. But I think if I say that it will give a bad impression of the business. So I lie and say "Very Likely". Because I think what they are really asking is "How did you like our service"? The same survey asked how satisfied I was with certain other services, that I never used. There was no "NA" option, so I again lied and said it was "Excellent", even though I didn't use it at all. Finally at the end they had a place for general comments where I said "Your business is great, but you should fire whoever is creating your surveys."
The irony is in order to give a true impression, I had to lie.
