CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was welling to do it for another lady friend of mine but there are alot of people that speak against it.I don't see a problem with it, just make sure you have them sign legal papers that if they do this then that you still get the baby cus carrieing ababy for another person and feeling that baby kick and stuff you can get attached to it.

As a principle, in areas where Scripture is unclear or silent, we need to listen to the voice of our conscience to determine what's right for us. But we cannot bind our conscience as doctrine on another person.
If surogasy offends your conscience, it's sin to you. If not, then it's ok for you (but just because it doesn't offend your conscience doesn't mean you ought). That way, we can walk in love and not in judgment with another.
Personally, I wouldn't do it.

I don't know if such an idea really existed in the same light during Biblical times.
Today, we can use medical science to make surrogacy possible without the man having to have sex with some other woman (namely, a friend or relative of his wife's).
Back in those times, the only thing that I can think of (in terms of so-called surrogacy) is that a man would take another wife (like they do in Islam).
I have great respect for people who are willing and capable of doing such a thing for a friend or relative, but personally I couldn't go through with it.
