My dog has cancer and is having surgery tomorrow. The surgery won't cure the cancer, but it will make his last days a lot more comfortable. Please pray for him as he goes through this procedure and for me as I go through the grief of losing my constant companion of nine years. He's an 11-year-old lab.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have lost many pets and am aware of the pain. I am still grieving over the loss of my two little dogs who were Murdered earlier this year. I have prayed for you and for your pet. May God grant you His Grace and His Peace!

Oh, and please pray that his liver is healthy. Things get much worse for him if the liver is involved. Doctor told me to think about what I want to do if the liver is involved.

Praying for you lambslove. I lost my dog at 16 a german s/samoyed.
Her liver packed up and she went down hill very fast herself. Died at home and was not in pain. I was there when she died and it was just so peaceful. God is so very awesome he will be there for you and your dog.

I will pray lambslove, I know how hard it is to lose our pets. And I know how hard the decision is we have to make when our pets grow old or become to ill to do much about it. I will be praying for both You and Jake.
