  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Please pray for me as I am struggling at the moment.
My relationship with my girlfriend is being tested as she is working away abroad for most of the year and we are struggling to find time to talk and catch up.
Also my health isnt too good at the moment, I have various symptoms that are proving harder to diagnose, as such I ache and am worrying and losing weight.
Life is tough at the moment financially, health wise and with relationships.... Help me to focus on you Lord and to forget my worldy worries. I know Lord that if I focus on you then everything else will fall into place, but that is proving easier said than done.

Please pray for my healing and for help with my relationship and finances

Lord, help this individual's relationship and let it last. Send healing to him and let doctors find what is making sick. Send them any help they need for any other worries, in their life. I pray for this, in Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for your prayers and the welcome!
I have joined as I don't have many Christian friends and it is nice to have support occasionally!
I am feeling really under attack at the moment, the more I try to concentrate on God the more I seem to be attacked. I know The Lord will win the battles though
